Went to my second New York Tech Meetup today (http://www.meetup.com/ny-tech/). Always an interesting experience. Very little women get up and pitch...my hope is to change that soon...
GTIO is almost ready for launching our alpha version!! Development team has got all the major features up and ready...just working out some bugs and IA issues before we hit QA later this week.
I'm thinking about some new ideas for GTIO:
1. The anti-friend idea: Forget your "Friend" network...use our site to get honest opinions without the bs that friends may have to serve up. Nice and simple...and a little anti social/friend/FB
2. Go try on... a little black dress contest: Maybe we work with brands to "sponsor" real fashion shows...and we give the winner something special....
3. GTIO: is not for the person that is so confident about his/her look...we are for anyone that just needs an opinion. You don't need to upload the perfect photo here...You photo will dissolve in 30 days...so we care less about saving what you look like...we want to be more utilitarian ....less dreamy.
