Over the past two days I've been made aware of two very interesting websites that utilize some of the same concepts and ideas of what GoTryitOn hopes to do...
They are below:

http://myfashionplate.com/home.aspx
In general they are interesting ways people are experiencing the social retailing space, but ultimately, different than what we seek to do.
Gotryiton.com seeks to provide real time, honest opinions about your look. It's that simple. We are not a retail site, we are not a virtual reality world... we believe there is always a need for a second opinion on your look, and we hope you will go try it on...in order to get that real, honest opinion.
We are not a site for the fearful... We are a site for the brave...the person who looks the world in the eye and asks, how can I look even better? We are the community for the optimist who seeks to look her best.
We are not a shopping website, though we highly value user's opinions and recommendations around clothing… Ultimately, we are about serving YOU, and we believe that some real treasures can be discovered in your closet...it's just about putting it all together in the right way... We want to provide that second opinion right away...and if there is a way to add on to your look, well, we want you to share that too!
Burberry give it a go....

The Art of the Trench....
...What I find most interesting about a site like this is that the brand has taken precautionary measures to ensure the highest quality images to be uploaded and displayed on the site/ to represent its brand. By having a renowned stylist be the curator for the images, there is a sense of exclusivity that may or may not be a good thing. By using Schuman as a "middle man" if you will, the brand is only dipping its toe into the social space... yet it's better than nothing, and is a very innovative fun way to engage with the brand!
