Focus Group1

Hello all!

In very exciting news, we held our first focus group last night. Six women joined the GoTryitOn team and offered themselves up for a beta testing of the concept.

We got some great feedback and insights into what could work, who the target audience should be and how to keep the community safe.

Thanks to Lila for thinking of expanding the network to HS women in NYC

Ashley proposed holding our third focus group with recent college grads, also NYC women. She will do a little recon this coming Friday.

Ali had a great insight into the reality of how people our age use their mobile phones...In reality, many devices are issued by work, and we need to provide a way for people to upload images via a digital camera (if all else fails) ...Also, she noticed that the digital camera flashes in the mirror, so we need to remind folks to "Turn flash off" if using the camera in the dressing room!

Shelia gave great input about functionality of the site: She said that people should be able to select who they review, who reviews them etc... All searchable by demographics, gender and city location.

Bindu hit on a key to success: Ad revenue really may NOT be the way to go for this business... She brought up the fact that our growth strategy should focus on partnership opportunities with bigger players in the retail space. I love this insight. I believe this will be our key to growth.

Ana had to sneak out early, but I'm confident she will have some great pieces of advice to share!
